Lowik Takes Victory

Written by X Bull Racing at 23:50 25/2-2011

Leo Lowik powered across the line ahead of Maseken Sjef Joppets and team mate Eldwin Church at the end of the 91 km one day stage from Bremen to Bremen .
And the X Bull Racing rider was delighted with his performance.
“Everyone tries to go for the win in races like this so it’s a bit hectic,” Lowik said.
“But it was great, I had Eldwin Church and Kurt Hambleton looking after me in the finish, and they did a good job holding onto me and I did a good job holding onto them all the way through.
“Sjef Joppets went at the end, I jumped onto his tail as soon as my boys had done the work I waited for him to think he had it in the bank and went for it myself, my legs felt good and feel I could have gone allot earlier, but u never know maybe he could have done the same to me!
